Most note systems are graveyards: hundreds of captures, nothing linked, nothing resurfacing, all of it in a rented database. This skill builds the opposite from plain Markdown files you own, with Claude as the connective layer that links, summarises, and resurfaces.
The structural rules: one frictionless inbox, atomic notes titled as claims you can state rather than vague topics, and a regular processing pass where Claude turns each raw capture into a linked permanent note, suggesting the three to five existing notes it should connect to. Capture is the easy part. Connection is the value.
The interesting behaviour arrives later: ask Claude to read a cluster of your own notes and it surfaces contradictions between things you wrote months apart, and gaps worth a new note. The graph starts connecting itself.
